התוסף "מוריד השירים" לדפדפן Chrome לא אוסף, לא שומר ולא שולח שום מידע על המשתמש. התוסף עובד רק אחרי לחיצה מפורשת על הסמל שלו, ואז הוא מעביר את כתובת הדף הפתוח ואת רשימת הפריטים שבו לתוכנה "מוריד השירים" שמותקנת באותו מחשב. ההעברה נעשית בתוך המחשב בלבד, ולא לשום שרת.
הדבר היחיד שהתוסף שומר הוא הבחירה האחרונה של המשתמש (פורמט ואיכות), והיא נשמרת באחסון המקומי של הדפדפן במחשב של המשתמש בלבד.
התוכנה "מוריד השירים" פועלת במחשב של המשתמש. לצורך שיפור התוכנה נשלחים נתונים סטטיסטיים כלליים ואנונימיים (למשל: גרסת התוכנה ומספר ההורדות), ללא שום פרט מזהה. לא נאסף מידע אישי, ולא נשמר מידע על התוכן שהמשתמש מוריד.
איננו אוספים שמות, כתובות דוא"ל, סיסמאות, פרטי תשלום, מיקום, היסטוריית גלישה או כל מידע אישי אחר, ואיננו מוכרים או מעבירים מידע לצד שלישי.

The Morid HaShirim browser extension does not collect, store or transmit any user data. It runs only when the user clicks its icon, and then passes the current page address and the list of items on that page to the Morid HaShirim desktop application installed on the same computer. Nothing is sent to any server. The only thing the extension stores is the user's last format choice, in the browser's local storage on the user's own computer.
The desktop application sends general, anonymous usage statistics (such as app version and download counts) to improve the software. No personal information is collected, and no information about downloaded content is stored. We do not collect names, e-mail addresses, passwords, payment details, location or browsing history, and we do not sell or share data with third parties.
